Amanda Boerner grew up in the Texas Hill Country and graduated from Comfort High School in 2010. Her life has been filled with animals since childhood. Her mother is a well-respected bloodhound and Bernese Mountain Dog breeder, and her father actively oversees wildlife management at their family ranch. As an adult, Amanda followed her parent’s footsteps to embrace a career managing canine and ranch facilities.

In August 2024, Amanda joined the FESAVS team. Prior to officially being hired, she was a friend of the clinic for years, often brightening our day with her cheerful and kind spirit. She says she loves everything about the FESAVS “from slobbery kisses from our patients to interacting with the staff and pet parents” and that she “even enjoys mopping the floors.” Amanda takes pride in the fact that clients often comment that our facility is the “best smelling” veterinary clinic they have ever visited. 

Currently, Amanda resides in Sisterdale with her son, where they enjoy the peace and quiet of small-town living. Her fur family consists of Peri (a Bernese Mountain Dog) and Summer (a dilute calico cat).
