Kelsey Duarte, DVM
Dr. Kelsey Duarte was born and raised in Galveston, Texas. She has always had a deep love for animals and grew up with dogs, cats, and horses. Dr. Duarte graduated from Baylor University in 2016 then received her veterinary degree from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2021. While attending Baylor, Dr. Duarte met her husband. He is a native of Mason, Texas, and she now also proudly calls Mason “home.”
Dr. Duarte started her veterinary career as an associate veterinarian at a mixed animal practice in Waco, Texas then joined the Fredericksburg Equine and Small Animal Services team in August 2022. In 2023, Dr. Duarte expended her skills and received her board certification from the American Veterinary Chiropractic Association.
She loves her profession and enjoys creating a personalized treatment plan for each client and their horses or pets. Her greatest professional interests include small and animal and equine chiropractic, diagnostic imaging, and small animal preventative medicine.
Dr. Duarte’s family includes her husband (Andy) and their daughter (Eden). The Duarte fur family consists of four rescued dogs (Presley, Briles, Trinity and Pantha). In their spare time, the Duartes enjoy going to watch Baylor athletics and spending time outdoors. Dr. Duarte is very excited to be a part of the Texas Hill Country community and cherishes her relationships with FESAVS clients and their animals.
