Dr. Matt Feller was born and raised in Fredericksburg. He grew up on a ranch with a variety of large and small animals. From an early age, he knew that he wanted a career in veterinary medicine. Dr. Feller graduated from Fredericksburg High School in 1999 and went on to Texas A&M University. In 2008, he received his doctorate in veterinary medicine from Texas A&M University.
In July 2021, Dr. Feller became a partner at Fredericksburg Equine and Small Animal Veterinary Services. He primarily cares for our small animal patients, and his greatest professional interests are internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, and intestinal surgery.
Dr. Feller’s family includes his wife (Laura) and their three children (Lance, Hadley, and Mox). Currently, the family has one dog (a rescued mixed breed “mutt” named “Riggs”). In his spare time, Dr. Feller raises cattle. Some of his favorite pastimes are hunting and camping at his family ranch.
